Can a nurse practitioner diagnose ADHD?
Nurse practitioners can diagnose ADHD within their scope of practice, which varies by province.
Do I need a referral?
No referral is needed to book.
How much does an ADHD assessment cost in Canada?
Costs vary by provider. At Jill Health the initial assessment is $249 one time.
How long does it take?
About 75 minutes in total across the history review, screening and video consultation.
What happens if I'm not diagnosed with ADHD?
Your clinician will walk you through what they found and, where relevant, other explanations worth exploring — you'll always leave with a clear next step.
Can I get a second opinion or bring in existing records?
Yes. You're welcome to share prior records or assessments with your clinician, and to seek a second opinion at any point.
