Locks, meet love

Treatments aren’t just for men. If you’re tired of teasing your hair and trying every thickening shampoo out there, a real solution is finally here.

A plan that works

Minoxidil 2%

What is it: A topical solution specially formulated to combat women’s hair loss. No more empty promises, just fuller, healthier hair. If you’ve noticed lately that your ponytail is sub par or your hairline is getting far, this is the solution for you.

How it works: Minoxidil works by improving blood flow to the scalp. By providing more nutrients to the hair follicles, it improves hair density, increases the rate of growth, and slows hair falling.

How to use: Apply 1 ml twice daily on the scalp. Leave on for at least 4 hours before washing for best results.

Biotin

What’s it for: Let your hair down, biotin is a natural vitamin that helps support strong hair and nails. Not to mention impressing your hair dresser.

How it works: Our bodies don’t naturally produce biotin, but it’s an important part in synthesizing keratin, an amino acid that keeps hair strong and healthy.

How to use: Take twice daily, check your hair out when walking past mirrors throughout the day and pair with Minoxidil for best results.

  • Certain hairstyles that pull the hair
  • Infections in the scalp
  • Medications
Topical Treatments
Minoxidil

Minoxidil is effective for the treatment of both male and female pattern hair loss. It works by prolonging the duration of the active growing phase of the hair follicle. It’s best to start using Minoxidil as soon as you notice hair loss. Regular daily application is recommended.

Since Minoxidil is applied locally, it is well tolerated. The most common side effect is irritation at the application site. Low blood pressure and heart rate have been reported. If you have any heart conditions please let the doctor know.

Oral 5-alpha reductase inhibitors (dutasteride, finasteride). This class of medications should not be used by women or handled by women that are pregnant or may become pregnant.
